Only the very good get to enjoy year-old cake

I got married a year ago today. We just had a number of friends over to eat the top layer of our cake. (It was okay: the chocolate cream frosting held up surprisingly well, the buttercream not so much.) We stayed at a nice hotel downtown last night and ate at Frontera - totally worth the two-hour wait. Also, we enjoyed a room service breakfast in bed, which was fantastic. But anyway. Our marriage has outlasted those of various celebrities: Cris Judd and Jennifer Lopez Both of Drew Barrymore's marriages Both of Shannen Doherty's marriages Cher and Greg Allman Nicolas Cage and Lisa Marie Presley Robert Evans and Catherine Oxenberg Janet Jackson and the one from DeBarge who wasn't El DeBarge (boy did she choose wrong.) Dennis Hopper and Michelle Phillips R. Kelly and Aaliyah Hank Azaria and Helen Hunt.This is a very special milestone, one year. I mean, it really is. And I am very happy and looking forward to many more anniversaries like this one, except with better cake.
