Keep it Like a Secret

My time is valuable

4:08 p.m., Jan. 24, 2004

So you know how sometimes your plans fall through, and you have a free afternoon out of nowhere, and decide to be productive? That's what happened to me today, except for the part where I was productive. My brother was going to drive down and get in about 12:30 so we could have lunch, and then head back later, but he called and cancelled. So I wasted three hours, then cleaned the bathroom and the kitchen.

But I have gotten more than halfway through the first season of 'Six Feet Under.' So I suppose it wasn't a total waste. Still, the house isn't spotless and the new light fixture isn't installed.

I suppose I can put both of those off awhile more, though.

Leaving work at 5 p.m. is so liberating.

They don't play often, but you should see 8 Bold Souls if at all possible.

When it doesn't ruin your flight plans, snow is really pretty.
