I know I should make a real entry, but yesterday, the Onion Softball Team in New York played the Paris Review Softball Team.
And GEORGE PLIMPTON was the FUCKING PITCHER!!
Yes, the septugenarian founder-editor of the Paris Review pitched a game of slo-pitch softball against the Onion in New York.
My friend Rob had to choose between playing softball with GEORGE PLIMPTON and seeing James Brown.
I think he chose correctly. But that is so awesome.
